FROM THE PRINCIPAL'S DESK
We are excited to be holding the Heritage Fair this Saturday 12th November from 10.00am-2.00pm. You can meet and make friends young and old, from near and far. It is the event that has sadly been missed due to COVID but now is back! So do come along to chat, buy, eat and have fun, participating in a wide range of stalls. It will be an enjoyable day for family and friends to come and fellowship together with others across our Adelaide community whilst raising funds for our Science Department refurbishment and equipment.
We are so thankful for all who have supported the preparations of the Fair by bringing in donations, agreeing to run a stall, cooking food to sell and many other ways. All is being wonderfully co-ordinated by the diligent and careful planning of two amazing staff members Abby Archer and Deb Nicholls. If the forecast showers materialise, we have provisions in place and plenty of undercover areas to mix and mingle.
This is our community school, and we are conscious that some of you will not have seen the changes that have taken place over the last couple of years due to COVID. Therefore, I will be taking two tours through the otherwise locked parts of the College, to show the changes that have taken place with the support of the State Government. These will be at 11.00am and 1.45pm so I hope to see you come along. Past students, come and wander through the rooms, reminisce, and enjoy all the memories!
The Fair has been a massive part of the College’s 25 years of existence. This Saturday promises to be another fantastic occasion for all and we look forward to your support as we come together for fellowship, food and fun.
‘…so they strengthened their hands for this good work.’ Neh 2 v 18

Community Feedback
"You have such a lovely school. The students are so lovely and motivated, well behaved and really musically talented! I just really love coming to your school and, whilst I’m not part of your community, I would love my kids to come to your school because it has such a nice feel. Something’s going really right at your school for it to be so lovely." Karen - Learning Thru Music
Feedback from Our Year 11 Work Experience Placements:
"Whilst I myself was not in the office/clinic over those 3 days, I wanted to pass on particular comments from Anisha, who was our supervising Exercise Physiologist to Zoe Manser. Anisha said that Zoe was an absolute pleasure to have here, and that she was one of the best work experience students we have had on board here at CHG, which is a fantastic credit to her! Anisha said she was always wanting to learn, always asking questions, making notes in her book, and overall just a 10/10 student to have on board!"
